There’s a village far away...

The Uzakköy brand was created by Tekiș Agricultural Products, a company established in 2020 and operating in Aydın, Turkey. Our modern facility, built on 2,000 square meters of land with 1,000 square meters of indoor space, includes a continuous system olive oil extraction plant with a daily processing capacity of 140 tons.

Before launching this factory, Tekiş had over 30 years of experience in the flour milling sector, building strong roots in the agriculture and food industry. Responding to growing demand, the company expanded into olive oil production with support from TKDK and government incentives, leading to a facility equipped with modern technology and high hygiene standards.

This journey—shaped by long years of labor, knowledge, and dedication—has evolved into a mission: to offer natural, traceable, and high-quality olive oils under the Uzakköy name.

Uzakköy takes its name from Akköy, one of the ancient villages of the Aegean region. For generations, people here have lived in harmony with the land, cultivating olives under the shade of millennia-old trees. We proudly carry this tradition into the future by carefully processing locally harvested olives in our facility and delivering them with the respect they deserve.

The olive groves of Akköy are part of a heritage that dates back to Ancient Times. These lands once hosted not only olive trees but also great thinkers like Aristotle, reflecting the deep wisdom embedded in this geography. For us, olive oil is more than a taste—it is a symbol of purity, knowledge, and a deep bond with nature.
